    Responsibilities
    – Develop and create complex CNC programs using Mastercam for a diverse range of machinery, including 5-axis milling, multi-tasking mill-turn centers, and large lathes.
    – Execute detailed tool selection, fixture design, and jig development to support all new program launches for the Senior CNC Programmer role.
    – Generate comprehensive process set-up sheets and precise tool set-up documentation for CNC machined components.
    – Collaborate directly with production, engineering, and quality teams to meticulously prove-out and optimize all programs before full-scale production begins.
    – Support cost estimation activities by running accurate cycle time studies for new manufactured projects presented to the sales team.
    – Ensure all processes align with established quality systems, including knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and related codes for the Skilled Trades Sector.

    Qualifications
    – Demonstrated mastery and a minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience as a CNC Programmer, specifically programming 2-axis lathes and 3-axis mills.
    – Extensive programming background (5+ years) with advanced multi-axis/multi-tasking machine centers, with 5-axis mill programming being a top priority.
    – Expert-level proficiency in Mastercam (CAM) software and solid experience utilizing Vericut for program simulation and verification.
    – A strong foundational knowledge of various machine controller languages, such as Mazak and Fanuc, for successful program transfer and machine operation.
    – Experience working in high-precision manufacturing sectors, such as aerospace or high-end automotive, dealing with complex components and tight tolerances.
    – Formal credentials, such as a diploma or certificate in CNC Programming, are strongly preferred for candidates with less than 20 years of on-the-job experience.
