    Responsibilities
    This position focuses on producing precise, leak-free mechanical assemblies through advanced fabrication techniques.

    Specialized Jacketed Piping: Fabricate and install complex jacketed piping systems with accuracy, interpreting P&IDs and GA drawings to ensure all joints and connections meet strict engineering standards.

    High-Pressure System Testing: Apply your knowledge of bolt-up procedures and hydrostatic testing to confirm system integrity, compliance with safety protocols, and leak-free performance.

    Advanced Fit-Up: Complete technical tasks such as threading, controlled torque application, and precise component alignment, constructing spool sections with meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship.

    Modular Integration: Contribute to modular skid and unit assembly by installing supports, valves, and instrumentation to ensure smooth mechanical operation across all systems.

    Qualifications
    Required Certification: Candidates must be formally registered as a 3rd-Year Apprentice Pipefitter.

    Precision Fabrication Experience: Demonstrated hands-on expertise in:

    Flange Alignment & Bolt-Up: Completing accurate flange connections on high-pressure piping while maintaining tight tolerances.

    Pressure Testing Skills: Preparing, performing, and documenting hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests with accuracy.

    Torque Accuracy: Applying controlled torque to precise specifications to create secure, leak-free mechanical assemblies.

    Victaulic Systems: Familiarity with Victaulic-style piping, including correct gasket selection and installation.

    Core Fabrication Competencies: Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, blueprints, and select appropriate studs, bolts, and gaskets based on engineering requirements and pressure classes.

    Professional Attributes: Dependable, detail-oriented, and fully committed to safe practices in a fast-paced industrial setting.

    Additional Requirements: Candidates must provide their own essential hand tools and have reliable transportation to the Nisku facility.
