Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Surveying Instrument Technician for the company in Ville Saint-Laurent:
Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair of measuring equipment such as total stations, optical levels, lasers, GPS systems, and more.
Collaborate with the team to improve work procedures and ensure service quality.
Interact with clients to understand their needs and provide them with first-rate technical support.
Accurately document the work performed and prepare the necessary calibration certificates.
Ensure the management and tracking of instruments in the workshop, thus guaranteeing an efficient and organized workflow.
Assist the shipping team and perform other related tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the workshop.
Qualifications
Your Profile as a Surveying Instrument Technician:
You have relevant experience in the maintenance or calibration of measuring instruments.
You possess strong technical knowledge in electronics, precision mechanics, or optics (an asset).
You have a DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in electromechanics or a relevant field of study.
You are recognized for your sense of organization and attention to detail.
You know how to demonstrate good logical reasoning and resourcefulness to solve problems.
You are autonomous in your tasks while also having an excellent team spirit.
You are bilingual (French and English), which is an important asset for communicating with clients.
