This is the opportunity for you! Our client, a leader in the food distribution industry, is looking for a Senior Customer Service Agent to strengthen their team. The ideal candidate should be a “plug and play” professional who won’t require close supervision. This is a full-time, on-site role that requires fluency in both French and English.

Responsibilities
Manage the order cycle from A to Z: You will receive, analyze, and process customer orders, primarily via email through EDI systems.
Coordinate logistics operations: You will communicate directly with the warehouse and trucking companies to schedule deliveries and pickups.
Act as a key contact: You will answer customer questions and ensure smooth communication, whether by email or phone.
Master work tools: You will use the Sage 300 software. Proficiency in Outlook and Excel is essential.
Qualifications
Relevant Experience: You have 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service. Experience in food distribution is preferred, but general distribution experience is also acceptable if you understand customer invoicing, delivery, and scheduling. Experience with major retailers like Loblaws, Metro, IGA, Walmart, or Costco is highly sought after, as is knowledge of EDI systems.
Essential Bilingualism: You are perfectly bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken , as you will interact with customers in Quebec, Ontario, and the U.S..
Autonomy and Initiative: You are known for your ability to work independently and solve problems without constant supervision. The client is looking for a senior candidate who is quick-thinking and can take initiative.
