    Responsibilities
    The Challenge:

    Serve as the on-site technical expert, taking full ownership of repairs, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and complex overhauls for mission-critical equipment. Any issues related to Natural Gas Compression or Energy Power Generation fall under your expertise.

    Work hands-on with a diverse range of specialized machinery, including:

    – A variety of natural gas and diesel engines

    – Industrial compressors and power generation units

    – Equipment from all major OEMs, including Caterpillar, Waukesha, Ariel, Cummins, as well as other non-Caterpillar brands

    Qualifications
    Mandatory Field Requirements: Are You Up for the Challenge?

    Expert-Level Role: This is a senior, highly specialized position. It is not suitable for on-the-job training or foundational learning. Only apply if you can confidently demonstrate expertise in every area listed below.

    Required Certification: A Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) certification is mandatory. Candidates from other Red Seal trades—such as Millwright, Mechanic, or Electrician—may be considered if they have verified hands-on experience with gas compression equipment.

    Gas Compression Experience: Proven, practical experience working with industrial Gas Compression systems across multiple makes and models is required.

    Field Assembly Competence: Must be able to perform high-stakes assembly work with precision. First-time, leak-free sealing of complex connections is expected without exception.

    Torque Accuracy: Demonstrated ability to apply torque precisely to critical system connections in accordance with technical specifications.

    Bonus points:

    Industry Background: Direct experience in Gas Compression and Well Servicing environments is a strong advantage.

    System Commissioning: Familiarity with equipment start-up and commissioning procedures.

    Engine Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Caterpillar G3600 A4 engines is considered an asset.
