    Responsibilities:

    The Shipping Coordinator will perform the following essential duties to ensure smooth Manufacturing & Logistics operations:
    -Plan and schedule all inbound and outbound freight in alignment with production and warehouse capacity.
    -Book trucks with approved carriers and coordinate specific pickup and delivery appointments.
    -Prepare all necessary outbound shipping documents, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, labels, and ASN data when required.
    -Coordinate the daily dock loading schedule based on logistics bookings and optimize trailer utilization and freight consolidation to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
    -Verify finished goods availability, product codes, quantities, pallet counts, and labeling before loading a shipment.
    -Arrange outbound freight and inter-warehouse transfers.
    -Coordinate inbound deliveries of raw materials (packaging materials) to proactively prevent storage or dock congestion.
    -Complete receiving documents and validate material against the BOL, actively identifying and reporting any discrepancies.
    -Control inventory, including performing regular cycle counts.
    -Ensure all shipments consistently follow company load and safety procedures.
    -Record outbound shipment details meticulously in the ERP/WMS, including weights, times, pallet counts, and carrier confirmation.
    -Maintain accurate shipping files, archives, and documentation that is audit-ready.
    -Conduct outbound quality checks and flag any discrepancies to the Warehouse and Quality teams.
    -Support monthly inventory accuracy by reporting outbound variances or material issues.
    -Perform shipment tracking when required, confirming dispatches, validating tracking information, and communicating updates to customers in support of the Customer Service Representative (CSR) workload.

    Qualifications
    Minimum Required Qualifications:

    To be successful in this Shipping Coordinator role in Manufacturing & Logistics, candidates should meet the following requirements:
    – Min. 3 years of experience working as a shipping or logistics coordinator in a manufacturing/production environment
    -Experienced with generating and processing all types of shipping and receiving documentation including BOL’s, packing slips, labels, ASN data, customs documentation
    -Experienced with booking and scheduling pickup and deliveries with approved carriers communicating via phone and/or email.
    -Able to use an ERP/CRM system to record all shipment details, client interactions and daily activity.
    -Experienced with performing inventory and cycle counts including the reporting and documentation.
    -Physical capacity to regularly stand, walk, use hands/fingers, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
    -Comfortable working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment where safety shoes, hearing protection, vision protection, and other necessary PPE are required.
