Responsibilities
Your daily responsibilities:
- Lead the daily planning meeting and work closely with the production, quality, and maintenance teams.
- Create, adjust, and optimize production schedules according to customer priorities and operational constraints.
- Manage the scheduling of orders (currently handled manually) to maximize equipment utilization.
- Analyze the availability of raw materials and components to ensure smooth production launches.
- Track delivery commitments and communicate timelines across departments.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities to optimize current workflows while awaiting the implementation of a new system.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for in a Production Planner:
- Relevant experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency, as it will be your main planning tool.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent prioritization abilities.
- A hands-on approach with solid communication skills to collaborate with multiple departments.
- Functional English skills (approx. 3/5) for professional interactions.
- Autonomous, proactive, and highly adaptable to change.
