People and Culture Coordinator

    Recruitment and Onboarding
     Coordinate and support full-cycle recruitment: job postings, screening,
    interviewing, reference checks, and offers.
    Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure a positive candidate experience.
     Lead onboarding for new hires, ensuring smooth integration and compliance with company policies.
     Maintain recruitment and onboarding documentation and track metrics

    Employee Relations & Engagement
     Be a trusted first point of contact for employee inquiries and support.
     Support the planning and delivery of employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs.
     Lead or assist with the Employee Events Committee and cultural initiatives
    Training and Development
     Maintain training records, training matrix, and compliance reports.
     Coordinate and deliver onboarding sessions and other training workshops as needed.
     Support talent development initiatives, including the preparation materials and tracking participation.

    HR Administration and Compliance
     Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and HRIS data.
     Prepare employment letters, contracts, and other documents.

     Support policy updates and compliance with employment standards and company practices.
     Support Health and safety initiatives and training, as required.

    Continuous Improvement
     Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the employee experience.
     Support HR projects and programs that align with business objectives.
     Maintain knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and trends.

    Other Duties
     Assist with planning and executing company events (AGM, offsites,
    celebrations).
     Support the Director of People & Culture with special projects and initiatives.
     Perform other related duties, as assigned.

    Responsibilities
    Full-Cycle Recruitment Management: Manage the entire candidate pipeline and hiring process, focusing on securing talent for both manufacturing and corporate roles.
    Culture & Engagement Leadership: Actively plan and execute wellness and engagement activities, championing the core cultural traits (Genuine, Resourceful, Connected).
    Trusted ER Point of Contact: Serve as the confidential first contact for all employee inquiries, escalating trends to strategic departmental needs.
    HRIS and Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy of all HRIS data and employee files, providing essential metrics for compliance and business reporting. Compliance and Risk Mitigation: Enforce company policies and employment standards, with a specific focus on administering Health & Safety in the factory.
    New Hire Integration: Lead the onboarding process to ensure all new hires are rapidly compliant and successfully integrated into the Chudleigh’s work environment.

    Qualifications
    Education and Experience:
     Post-secondary education preferably in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations or Business Management
     2-5 years of work-related experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
     Previous recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment
     Previous Health and Safety exposure is an asset
    Qualifications:
     Strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented
     Organizational skills, detail orientation, flexibility and learning agility
     Ability to handle multiple priorities and solve inquiries and issues expeditiously and efficiently
     Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Online career sites)
