Responsibilities
The OS&D Specialist will have the following key responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve OS&D issues by identifying the cause of incidents and implementing corrective actions.
- Review shipping documents, inspect freight and contact relevant parties to gather information.
- Meticulously track and record all OS&D incidents, ensuring accurate documentation for future reference and claims processing.
- Communicate with customers to inform them of the status of their shipments and guide them in filing claims.
- Collaborate closely with various teams to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of preventive measures to minimize future occurrences of OS&D.
- Adhere to established freight flow and OS&D procedures to ensure compliance and maintain quality standards.
- Escalate unresolved issues or non-compliance matters to management.
