    Responsibilities
    The Challenge
    :

    Take the lead as the on-site technical authority, assuming full responsibility for repairs, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and complex overhauls on critical equipment. You’ll serve as the go-to expert for any issues related to Natural Gas Compression or Energy Power Generation systems.

    Work hands-on with a variety of specialized machinery, including:

    Natural gas and diesel engines of various types

    Industrial compressors and power generation units

    Equipment from all major OEMs, including Caterpillar, Waukesha, Ariel, Cummins, and other non-Caterpillar brands

    Qualifications
    Mandatory Field Requirements: Are You Ready for the Challenge?

    This is a senior, highly specialized field role — not a training position. Only apply if you can confidently demonstrate expertise in all the areas listed below.

    Expert-Level Role: A senior position requiring advanced hands-on knowledge. On-the-job training or foundational learning is not provided.

    Required Certification: Must hold a Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) certification. Candidates from other Red Seal trades, such as Millwright, Mechanic, or Electrician, may be considered if they have verifiable hands-on experience with gas compression equipment.

    Gas Compression Experience: Proven practical experience with industrial Gas Compression systems across multiple makes and models is mandatory.

    Field Assembly Expertise: Ability to perform high-stakes assembly work with precision, including first-time, leak-free sealing of complex system connections.

    Torque Precision: Demonstrated skill in applying torque accurately to critical system connections in strict accordance with technical specifications.

    Additional Advantages:

    Industry Background: Direct experience in Gas Compression and Well Servicing environments is a strong plus.

    System Commissioning: Familiarity with start-up and commissioning procedures for industrial equipment.

    Engine Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Caterpillar G3600 A4 engines is considered an asset.
