Responsibilities
Responsabilities of the forklift driver:
– Operate forklift (75% of tasks)
– Using RF scanners
– Wrapping pallets
– Repetitive lifting 50-70 lbs (25% of tasks)
– Loading and unloading: Handling freight in and out of trailers. Products come in a variety of shapes and sizes
– Maintain a safe work environment and cooperate with the team
Qualifications
The forklift driver must :
– have a valid external forklift license (Counter balance class)
– At least 1year warehouse experience
– Minimum 1 year Forklift experience with Counterbalance
– have previous experience in loading and unloading
– be able to lift 75 pounds
– Steel toes safety boots
– Must have reliable transportation – not bus route accessible
