Responsibilities
• Act as the primary Contracts Analyst responsible for routing all trading contracts through the necessary internal approval workflow.
• Manage all contractual communications with external third-parties, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all exchanges.
• Drive the continuous improvement of contract documentation, including forms, templates, and related administrative processes.
• Draft and meticulously review complex purchase and sale agreements for crude oil and products based on deal recaps and confirmations.
• Accurately identify differences, potential issues, and contractual risks in agreements, and effectively draft counteroffers to mitigate exposure.
• Proactively coordinate with internal departments (Legal, Trading, Operations, Demurrage, Risk, and Finance) to ensure all complex contracts are effective and align with corporate risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide administrative and analytical support to the Operations Manager, performing other Contracts Analyst duties as assigned to support the department’s goals.

• Exceptional attention to detail and proven strong proofreading capabilities for complex legal and commercial documents.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle multi-tasking and manage high-volume contract administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in identifying contractual issues and proposing solutions.
• Excellent written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills for professional engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team with diverse cultural backgrounds in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, for drafting, tracking, and reporting.
