Responsibilities
The Cherry Picker Forklift Operator will be responsible for the following tasks in Manufacturing & Logistics:
• Operate the Cherry Picker forklift (Order Picker) safely and efficiently for picking and placing materials.
• Manually perform accurate order picking and preparation using order tickets, ensuring item accuracy.
• Handle heavy material handling tasks, including lifting, pushing, or pulling loads up to 50 lbs when required.
• Participate in general warehouse support tasks, such as packaging, ticketing, and sorting products (general labor).
• Actively contribute to stock and inventory management.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to all safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with the team and supervision regarding the status of orders and equipment.
Qualifications
To be considered for this permanent Cherry Picker Forklift Operator position:
• Significant experience in operating a Cherry Picker forklift.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and stand for the entire shift.
• Good communication skills.
• Motivation and flexibility to perform various material handling and logistics support tasks.
• Availability to start quickly (ASAP) in Vaudreuil
• Proven experience and expertise in operating a Cherry Picker forklift.
• Ability to perform material handling and order picking tasks with speed and accuracy.
• High focus on safety and adherence to warehouse procedures.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to stand for the entire duration of the shift.
• Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple logistics tasks simultaneously.
