    Job description

    Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

    Tasks: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll. Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

    Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.

    Post journal entries.

    Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.

    Reconcile accounts.

    Prepare budgets and payrolls. Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments.

    Oversee payroll administration.

    Computer and technology knowledge: Accounting software.

    Database software. Human resources software.

    MS Excel.

    MS PowerPoint.

    MS Windows.

    MS Word.

    Simply Accounting.

    MS Office.

    Spreadsheet.

    Sage Accounting Software.

    Area of specialization: Accounting and financial services.

    Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
