Responsibilities
The successful Senior Test Engineer – Hybrid will have extensive lab-based experience testing Network Management Systems using NETCONF/RESTCONF and SNMP and strong experience with Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 protocol testing. The ideal candidate will have experience with Optical WDM software, Automation testing, and optical edge transport module testing.
Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:
Lab-based QA Testing – 9-12Y+
Writing Automation Test scripts – 5-10Y+
Network Management System (NMS) testing with NETCONF/RESTCONF and SNMP – 5-12Y+
NETCONF/RESTCONF XML/JSON-based syntax, schema and validation – 5-12Y+
Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 protocol testing – 5-12Y+
Software Version Control using Git or SVN – 5-12Y+
Linux and Microsoft – 5-12Y+
JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar (which ones?) – 5-12Y+
Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science – 3-4Y+
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Optical transport product verification – 5-10Y+
